Is Lithos multi-tenant software?
No. Each operator runs on a dedicated instance with its own database, its own UPS connection and its own secrets. Your clients' data never shares a table with another 3PL's. Clients within your instance are strictly separated from each other.
Who hosts it, and who owns the data?
TruGen Labs hosts and operates your instance on infrastructure it owns, not on a rented public cloud. The data is yours. Clients export their own orders and reports from the portal at any time, and a full export of your instance is available on request.
Which carriers does Lithos support?
UPS, connected directly: rates with real delivery dates, labels, voids, reprints, return labels and tracking, on your UPS account, a client's own account or a third-party billing account. UPS is the only carrier today; others are on the roadmap and Founding Operators set the order.
Does it connect to Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce?
Store connectors are coming, not shipped. Today orders arrive through the client portal, by CSV, or through the Lithos API, which clients with their own systems use to create orders, read stock and receive webhooks.
Is there an API?
Yes. A REST API with per-client keys (read or write scope, IP allow-list, rate limit) covering inventory, products, orders, invoices, lots, documents and reports, plus order creation and changes. Webhooks are signed and retried, with a delivery log. Documentation is provided with your instance.
What goods is it suited to?
Any goods a 3PL ships. Lots, expiry dates, certificates of analysis and label printing make it a strong fit for regulated and perishable products; for general merchandise those features switch off per client.
What happens when an order asks for more than is in stock?
Lithos raises a shortfall and holds the order instead of shorting it. Staff can fill from the client's existing stock, ship part and backorder the rest as a child order, or offer a substitute the client accepts in the portal or via the API.
Can a client change an order after placing it?
Yes, themselves, until a shipping label is bought: quantities and the ship-to on a pending order. After that they send a change request, which staff see and handle. They can also cancel a pending order or request a return on a sent one.
How does monthly billing work?
Invoices can be tied to an order or stand alone, so storage, handling and ad-hoc charges are ordinary invoice lines. Labels bought on your UPS account for a client consolidate into a per-client shipping invoice. Clients see invoices, their credit balance and payment history in the portal. Lithos does not process card payments; clients pay you as they do today and the ledger records it.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. A native iPhone app for staff and clients with the same actions and permissions as the web app, built against the same server. Ask on the walkthrough about availability for your instance.
What hardware does the warehouse need?
A current Windows PC with a browser, a handheld barcode scanner of the keyboard-wedge type, and your label and document printers. A small print agent on that PC prints shipping labels, packing slips, pick lists and product labels as they are queued.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends on how many clients and SKUs you bring and how clean the data is. The sequence is always the same: walkthrough, instance, setup together, floor training, client tours, switch. See how it works.
What does it cost?
Pricing is set per engagement, based on client count, order volume and onboarding scope. There is no public price list. You get a written proposal after the walkthrough.
How is sign-in secured?
Passwords plus an emailed verification code at sign-in, sessions listed per user with sign-out of other devices, roles that limit what each person sees (warehouse staff never see prices), and an audit log of admin actions.
Who is behind Lithos?
Lithos 3PL™ is a product of TruGen Labs Inc., Las Vegas NV. It was built inside a working fulfillment warehouse and is used there every day. See about.
